That’s exactly what I said last night as I opened the mail.
We received a letter from our ISP (which is also our phone service, cable tv, and digital cable provider…. and oh yes, our Wireless provider too) stating that effective on the 1st bill following August 28th, 2006 we’ll be paying an EXTRA… $7.00/month on our Hi Speed services.
Now, needless to say I’m not too pleased with this… but you know what.. I’ll pay it. Not because they’re reliable or because I think they deserve it… (cause they don’t, and they’ve been very UN-reliable in the past) but because I don’t really have any other choice… AND they know it. That’s what irks me most. They Know It and exploit it. PR will say no no no.. it’s because “operational costs have increased”…. blah blah blabbidyblah!
