O'Reilly Twitter Hacked

My guess is this has nothing to do with the phishing attacks that started on Twitter a couple of days ago. But a few minutes ago the official Fox News Twitter account posted “Breaking: Bill O Riley is gay” (referring to the host of the popular Fox show O’Reilly Factor), right after a legitimate message about making turkey lettuce wraps.

new theme…

So I’ve finally managed to find a decent theme for flashydreams.com. Amazing right?
I figure theme’s are a big reason I haven’t really populated this thing, besides being too busy for the most part in my everyday life. If the theme isn’t up to my standards of what I want it to be from the get go, I’m less likely to keep working on it. Part and parcel with being a lazy SOB I suppose.

At any rate I believe this theme is definitely the best one I’ve found that suits my needs.
Simple yet, classy I say.

Movie Review: National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets (2007)

TITLE: National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets (2007)
STARRING: Nicolas Cage, Diane Kruger, Justin Bartha, Jon Voight, Helen Mirren, Ed Harris and Harvey Keitel
RATING: PG (it’s Disney, what do you expect?)

SPOILER ALERT

If you have not seen the movie, do not read this… just know that I gave it 4 outta 5 based on a bullshit scale of 1 and 5. 1 being “Terrible”, and 5 begin “Amazing”. (I’ll have to work on a real scale sooner or later)

Now that the disclaimer is out of the way….

This was a decent 2nd round for the series, and it appears there’ll be another if they deem the 2nd installment a success (and possibly either way just look at Spider-man 2 and 3…).

There are a lot of predictable scenes, however, if you can get beyond those and see the film as a Disney production, and an enjoyable family fun movie, I will definitely give my recommendation.

I’ll admit, the Parents, Patrick (Jon Voight) and Emily (Helen Mirren) are a little annoying, but that may be something to do w/ seeing myself at 70 bickering endlessly with the one woman who knows me best and knows how to get under my skin, and vice versa… (Gee I wonder who that is?!)

Anyway, once again Helen of Troy, I mean Diane Kruger is as hot as ever, in the role of Abigail Chase. The slightest lingering German accent really works for me. Riley Poole (Justin Bartha) is as much a clutz as ever, and they really played him up as the geek again. Ed Harris as the Villain “Mitch Wilkinson” was OK, nothing too spectacular. And of course, Nicolas Cage resumes his role as Ben Gates… “Indiana Jones for the new millenium?”.

Again, overall a decent film. 4 over all, on my scale of 5…
Fun, action packed and a great car chase… though I have to wonder if high speed chases through London streets and shops with a Beer trolley are often so unnoticed?

I wonder if deleting Database records has ever led to heart attack…

OK, so I don’t know about you, but it doesn’t matter what the situation, and how many times I look it over… I ALWAYS get a strange feeling when I am about to delete content from a Database.

I have deleted records, tables, etc from Databases countless times over the years, so you might think I’d be OK with it, but oh no, there goes the heart palpitations and the uneasy stomach (not a full blown panic attack… I’m not in need of therapy here… at least not for this). I seriously don’t know what the big deal is, why is my body stressin’ out?

I can write, and re-write the DELETE statement over and over and over again, never changing a thing, but I still get hesitate when I make the final “Executioner’s Click” (read: hitting F9 on my keyboard via HeidiSQL)

Why is that? I mean, I back up the table, I back up the DB (no matter what the size… 1gb of database records takes a while to backup I might add), I delete the records. Simple.

Apparently not so simple, given the uneasiness it causes. Of course it’s over now, cause I’ve done it and all is well, but … WTH!
